Cough That Won't Go Away.

Unlike feeling unwell or sick, a cough that won't go away can a tricky little pain in the bum when trying to figure out what's actually causing it.

I mean, is it a tickly cough? Chesty cough? Dry cough? All of which can be down to anything from cat allergies to dust mites to smoking to a high sugar or white flour diet which will leave you deficient in your daily RDA of B Vitamins. And the truth is, there are so many causes that can cause a cough to occur, diagnosis would be different for everyone.

If you smoke, stop! If you work in a dusty environment, wear a dust mask! If you live in a chimney, move out! Take a good look at your lifestyle. Is there any particular time of day when your more susceptible to spluttering? If so, do you see a pattern forming when your around anything/anyone in particular? When did it start and what might you have done then and you're still doing now that may have brought it about?

Assuming of course you've already seen your GP, a cough that won't go away might be caused by something really trivial. I always suggest Boots Multi Vitamins and Minerals to everyone for if nothing else, one a day keeps your immune system like a fortress.
