I think the pedi peel pads are brilliant, best thing i've ever tried for the dry skin problem!
Magix is also brill, esp if you have oily skin.
Avon Colour Trend is beauty on a budget so fairly basic no frill fare really. Think the concealer is the best in book though!

The new sunrise alarm clock is very dissapointing. I was expecting something far more substantial for my money, so I am sending it back. It's very tacky and plastic looking.
I bought on for my brother last years as one of his christmas presents. he has a larger more expenxive electic one in his bedroom and i thought this would do him when he works away and has to stay in hotels.
he ownly used it once and it didnt wake him up and so he was lrunning late all day, then when he got back to the hotel the same night it was broke ...so it was a waste of money !!
I haven't had much luck with most of the gadgets such as mini flashlight key chains, battery operated cell phone chargers, curves pedometers. I've found that some of the clothing articles are low quality and don't look as good as the brochure picture.
For me, if you order anything other than cosmetics, skin care, or fragrance you're taking a chance.
The Ella Jewelry Box was returned by 2 of my customers as it was "too cardboardy and cheap looking for the price" - I have to agree with them Also had a couple of guardian angel birthstone necklaces returned :/

My mum ordered the Shimmer Glow dust for her and a friend at work. It was really disappointing especially as it had been recommended by Cosmo!
It took ages for anything to come out of the brush and when it did, there was no colour to it at all and barely any shimmer - you wouldn't even have noticed if you had it on. My mum returned her product for something else but the lady at work kept it but has not ordered again!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Same here with the Glow Dust! I had one which I returned and a customer returned one as well....still have 5 more out there which I've sold but I wouldn't be surprised if I get more complaints =(

I recently tried the Spectralash mascara and was really disappointed to be honest. It barely showed - even on number 3! - and wasn't a patch on my usual Supershock - so back it went!
I just ordered the new Colour Trend Fruit Nail Varnishes in both pear and berry.
First off the colours are quite a bit paler than in HT and I have just put 4 coats on my nails and I can still see through it. Am gutted because I thought they would make a nice change

aw no I've ordered those aswell! My delivery comes tomorrow, I was going to paint my nails with it before I delivered my customers orders, and hopefully get chatting about it. Nevermind!
LOL...great minds think alike! Im delivering tonight and those were my plans too!
It's really annoying as well because in the actual C9 book the pciture is a gorgeous purply berry colour and this is barely darker than the Iced Champink
I sent back the Supershock waterproof because it.. Um.. Isn't! The ideal shade foundation went back because it was like plastering a wall and i returned the foundation stick because it was to dry to blend properly, i must the worst complainer because i've never had an item returned to me just because a customer doesn't like it, i've had very few returns at all and they were for 1 faulty item and a few things that were the wrong size.

I bought the 3 in one lipliner, gloss and lipstick on my first campaign. The lipstick got stuck in the tube and the pencil broke. Tried to sharpen it but didn't work. I just threw it away!! LOL!
Also someone mentioned earlier the color trend eyeshadow. It does not work at all!! I just use it for the big fat eyeliner on the top of it! HAHAHA!!
Customers love the Luxe Lavender. Had one woman order it at work and then when another saw it on her she ordered it too! Have one customer who ordered the Vintage Blue, but she is very deep tan skin so hopefully it will good on her.
For myself, I used the Rejuvenate 24 hour eye cream samples. The night time gel was nice but the day part with spf really made my eyes sting and water. I had to call in sick one day because it was so bad. At first I liked the flash facial as well, I'm still using the samples but I don't think it's doing anything for me. The day cream with spf was also too heavy and made me more oily during the day.
Not sure about MagicX yet. Still using sample. Works somewhat under make-up but not sure it's better than anything else.
Looking forward to trying all the MU though. I purchased the new foundation and concealer demos as well.

LOL - yes I've been using flash facial and I can't see that its doing anything but it is very nice and I've had it for ages. Now also using Reversalist night cream and still no miracles. Same with the liquid bra.
I am not quite sure what I was expecting though!!!!
Perhaps if I continue I'll look like I'm only 40 when I am 80?? !!!
Will the wrinkles come back with a vengance if I stop using the creams?!!
Will my boobs drop to my knees if I stop using the liquid bra?!!
REversalist Eye cream.....i like the cream ,it didn't sting like the rejuvenate eye cream -like BromleyMaven I had quite bad...but in two weeks I can see the bottom of the veil-that says to use as needed, and I didn't.Not enough!!!!

Cooling effects foundation was dissapointing. Didn't look any better/different to Ideal Shade accept the colour Ivory was a tad darker than the IS one. It settled into pores quickly, even with MagiX under it, whiped off too easily. Sending it back with the perfectwear concealer. Did nothing and was greasy.
Arabian glow nailwear and Speed Dry nailwear both chip very quickly.
Gave up using the flash facial. Felt nice in place of a moisturiser but didn't really do anything for my skin that I could notice. Have gone back to using aqueous cream.
Gillian Dempsey dual ended eye shadow and liquid liner, didn't actually use it. I was more annoyed because the catalogue clearly states that the liquid bit is black but what I got was clearly brown!
Avon true colour blush russett. The colour is ok, but it's very dark on me even with a very light hand. I have much lighter peachy shades that work better. It's a shame they only do three colours of blush, that's pretty absurd these days. I used it a few times. It was ok, my MAC blushes are so much better and more versatile though.
Blush brush. I liked that it was angled, but it's a very narrow head. Very strange. It makes a stripe on your face instead of a diffused control area. Again, My MAC one is so much better and also more versatile.
For a professional make-up/skincare company that has been around for over 50 years you would think they would have a much better and more professional selection of make-up brushes.

I don't like any of their make-up brushes that I have used, especially not the Kabuki one - it sheds hairs and they are quite harsh on your skin.
Avon Care Rich Moisture body lotion takes forever to sink in to the skin and doesn't leave it feeling moisturised. Think I'll try the skin so soft whipped oil next as I get good reports about that.
The large barrel hair brush is rreeeally sore on your head and normally I like a good firm brush...but not this one!
Smooth Minerals foundation, although it feels nice going on is too dark - even the palest shade (Ivory) is darker than my skintone. The other foundations seem to be alright, but they do need to make this paler.

The Hair removal mit thing has to be the most dissapointing thing ever, i was so pleased when i saw it in HT as i used to get the cheapy ones from savers, have to say the cheapy ones from savers are better quality and work better at actually removing hair !!!!!!!
i love the new lavender luxe nail polish but its sister nail polish vintage blue is more white and next to my pale skin it looks ghastly.
Um, what?! I was so excited about that colour (though don't really like how it looks on the model in the book) and just added it to my order today! I've got really fair skin too, maybe I should switch and get Lagoon instead? That darker blue looks so sharp when paired with white, and I've got a skirt and few tops that would do the trick!

I really love the tinted Magix and will stock up in case they never bring it back. I think you have to actually have something that needs improving to see the beauty of this product or the tube.
Luckily, we've still got this product over here! A new customer just ordered it - and I've gone ahead and done the same, since it turns out it's basically what I buy now from the drug store (only it'll cost me 40% less this campaign!). So glad to hear positive feedback on it
